We are Mitchell’s family and friends and we volunteer to continue his legacy.
Leanne Powell – Chair
My name is Leanne Powell, and Mitchell is my brother-in-law. I have known him since he was very young.
I have been involved in the foundation from the very beginning and will continue to support it.
Seeing Mitchell’s legacy live on through the foundation is a wonderful tribute to the incredible fundraising he has done in the past.
As a foundation, we are committed to raising awareness and providing support to those in need.
Sarah Jenkins – Vice Chair
Hi I’m Sarah and I’m the Vice Chair of the Mitchell Powell Foundation. I’ve watched Mitchell grow from a young boy to a man and always admired his continued charitable support all the while battling his own health condition. Our aim is to continue his legacy and help support those who are fighting their own battles.
Justin Parker – Secretary
I’m the secretary of Maltsters Sports Junior section. It’s through Maltsters Sports I got to know Mitch and we shared the Secretary role of the senior teams and set up the junior section with James Norman. We have around 100 kids playing every weekend, that’s thanks to Mitchell’s love of the club & coaching the kids. We became good mates and shared a love of football, cricket and having a pint.
I’ve been on the Mitchell Powell Foundation board since it started and was honoured to be asked to be a part of this amazing Foundation so we can continue Mitchell’s fantastic charity work.
Kirsty Davies – Chief Fundraiser & Board Member
I’m Kirsty, Mitchell’s sister. We were always so very close growing up and I was like a second mother to him. We had a great relationship and he fought so very hard all his life with his health battles. From a very young age Mitchell was dedicated to always helping people, doing what he could, raising money, supporting others, the list is endless. Over the years he has raised thousands and thousands, I was always so very proud of him and I always will be. This is why we wanted to set up the foundation, to carry Mitchell’s legacy. Mitchell unfortunately isn’t here to do it himself any longer so we’ll do it for him. We’ll continue to help, donate and support as many people as we can and make sure Mitchell’s good faith will continue forever. Mitchell was one of a kind and I’ll never let that be forgotten.
Caroline Powell – Board Member
Hello, I’m Caroline Powell, Mitchell’s mother. To be proud of your children is natural and I’m very proud of my three. To lose a child is not natural and for me and my family, it is the worst thing we’ve ever been through. After losing Mitch we realise how many different people he helped and this made us want to carry on his legacy. We started the Mitchell Powell Foundation and as sad as we are, I continue to be very proud of Mitch‘s legacy #OneProudMother
David Powell – Fundraiser
Hi, I’m David Powell, Mitchell’s brother.
This foundation means a great deal to me, and I’m incredibly proud to play a role in it behind the scenes.
I may never achieve what Mitchell has, but I will continue to support and fundraise for the Mitchell Powell Foundation.
I’m so proud of Mitchell and his dedication to helping others.
Sebastian Wlodarczyk – Marketing Officer and Board Member
Hi, I’m Sebastian, though most know me as Seb.
I’m honoured to serve as the Marketing Officer and Board Member for the Mitchell Powell Foundation—a charity dedicated to continuing the incredible work inspired by Mitch’s legacy.
Taking on this role means a lot to me. It gives me the chance to support and promote the amazing work we do in Mitch’s name, helping to keep his spirit and dedication alive.
Mitch’s passion and kindness continue to inspire us all every day.
